45 years after closure the position of the station building can be plotted with precise accuracy by the survival of the station forecourt, though a modern pillar box has replaced the smaller original!

Please excuse this out of focus picture. The light was failing rapidly, resulting in long exposure times, while the temperature was dropping causing increased hand shake, a fatal mixture. If only I'd taken my tripod!
